He is currently professor of Medicine and vice chair of the Division of Cardiology (Innovations) in the Department of Medicine and a consultant in Cardiac Electrophysiology in the Department of Pediatric Cardiology, Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. Currently, Dr. Asirvatham is also Program Director for the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Training Program at Mayo Clinic - Rochester.
